Tilia - Linden, is the genus that includes about 30 species of trees, from the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere, Asia (where most of the species are found in variety), Europe and eastern North America. Kinds lime consisting of deciduous trees, reaching 20-40 m. Tall, with a side-heart- sheets, long stem pointed top and bottom protruding veins observed.
The lime tree is a flowering plant, a dicotyledonous flower with seeds. The flowers are carried in clusters, at least three flowers in the leaf axils of young shoots with long stalk, is whitish, fragrant, on a common shaft. The durable body stands like a pillar and branches are subdivided into numerous branches. The fruit is like a round or oval small nut.
